After years of corporate work, BobbyD took the plunge of satisfying his love for barbecue in 2001. Having eaten barbecue from extensive travels of the United States, and after success with competition cooking, BobbyD began and has been voted the Emporia Gazette’s “Best of the Flint Hills Best Barbecue” since its inception (17 years).
